This is a Custom Guitar - that came to me out of the Blue when I found the Body / Pickguard on sale on eBay. I already had all the Electronics and Pickups in my Stash of Stratocaster Parts from previous builds and upgrades on my other instruments. So this one is a Great Player, but even with the unusual Three Humbucking Pickup ( Think SG Custom on Steroids) I am letting it go because too many strats...The neck on this guitar is my Favorite Style Necks and I have put these necks on my other Telecasters and Stratocasters...the neck person from Woodstock NY makes some of the best necks I have ever played, his bindings are impecable and his finishing on fret wire, bindings and nitrose - cellulose finishing in Satin is "well us old guys would say it is like Butter."The Pickups are not top of the line - they are Squier by Fender Korean / Indonesian pickups, I removed them from one of my other two strats when I upgraded to Seymour Pearly Gates...so you have room to grow there. I Wired the Guitar 7 Way ( ala Gilmore / Pink Floyd) So you get the traditional 5 Way switching of a Strat with Volume Pot down.
Pull up the Bjorn Volume Pot and you now get in Position 1 or what some people call 5 the very back Front and Back Humbucker's - move to position 2 or what some people call 4th position, next to back and you light up all three Humbucker's...think Peter Frampton on Steroids with a STRAT INSTEAD OF AN L.P. !!!!This is an unusual guitar. The Contrast of the White and Black pick-guard and pickups is striking along with the METALLIC BRITISH RACING GREEN PAINT JOB.. The Neck choice I made by my experience; " Bound Canadian Maple with Rosewood Fretboard, Block Inlays like Fender in the 70's, Satin Nitrose Cellulose finish, black closed Tuning Keys, Black Roller String Trees,  i FOUND THIS NECK PROVIDER ON eBay two years ago..their REVIEWS were execellent...I thought that getting a neck from this Woodstock Company in Woodstock NY the home of Rock History  adds conversation to the piece. I chose this neck carefully with that maker because of their quality and their reviews by other builders first off...then aesthetically...I being a Master Photographer - Photoshop'ed the guitar prior to buying neck to see if Maple Finger Board or Rosewood complimented the build...also I did not opt for a Stratocaster style Head-stock they do offer, instead I Opted for ..this company's "Double Swoosh" Head-stock, it  is unique and is "unlike" a Tele carving but is that size...so again it brings originality to the Build.I did put a nice Fender Style Neck "F" Plate - The String Trees are the roller style in black so it matches the tuning keys and pickups - the tuners came mounted in the neck at purchase of neck and there is a slight ding in one of the routed tuner holes ...the Neck builder reduced the neck cost by many dollars because of the slight chip...it does not effect the tuning of the guitar or pla-yability of the neck or the stability of the tuner in that hole. It is just a finishing blem. I look at blemishes on guitars as character...this guitar has very little dings or nicks in paint or in pic-kguard..it has never been played with a belt on and I only play sitting down due to my disability and having a pacemaker in my Chest..no straps for this guy.I assembled this over about three weeks, and then took to a local Luther for Custom setup on the 9.5 inch radius neck. The back of the neck has a really nice feel because it is not the usual curve on a 9.5 radius neck it has a little flatness mid back of neck that runs the  length of neck and allows for your Thumb to ride in the middle of neck during Barring....I am so glad I have this neck on two of my other guitars if I did not it would make letting this one go even harder than it is now -  I am a rhythm player most of the time and again I have every configuration of pickups in existance that a Strat could have...so this one goes...So remember this is a "Custom Build" it has its' idiosyncrasies and it is a great player for you to expand on and put your own touches in Pickups , etc....
