1936 VEGA LAP STEEL, VERY RARE INSTRUMENT WITH ORIGINAL HARDSHELL CASE! The last one that came up sold for £670 and it didn't even work. This one is in fully working condition with original wiring, horseshoe pickup, capacitor, Bakelite nobs, machine heads, you name it. The case alone is amazing with its originally and some history of this instruments life with old song sets, spare machine heads, strings and so on. I believe this is number 7 by it's stamped control cover that was made by Vega in Boston in 1936 and seemed to of emigrated to Wales in or around the 1960's. A real gem that sounds incredible and sustains forever. Happy to post back to the USA for a collector - UK/worldwide shipping or pickup welcome. As much of an investment as a musical instrument. Advertised elsewhere.
