Fans of Bob Marley and John McGeogh will have seen this type of guitar in action.  It is in really good condition, well cared for and set up well so it plays light and fluid with a low action and has a lot of mojo and a definite vintage vibe.  The guitar has a solid maho wood body with carved maple top, fitted with a set neck, ebo fretboard with split wing mother of pearl position markers, clean hardware and tuning pegs. The sound is through 2 high output pickups. Yamaha SG-1000 guitars came onto the scene in 1976 along with the famous SG2000 and were available in tobacco sunburst and many other finishes. The guitar has been used and displays some signs of genuine play, rather than the "reliced" look. Comes with Yamaha gigbag.
