Schecter S-1 Classic
This one is an SG-style guitar updated with some new looks and an improved sound. The guitar plays very quickly, but the neck is thick enough that you can definitely feel it in the palm of your hand. The guitar sports two of Schecter's Diamond Plus set in the bridge and neck. Every detail is very well thought out right down to the knobs. You get two volume knobs reversed in position so that the one closer to you controls the bridge pickup and the one furthest away controls the neck pickup. You get a master tone knob that has a coil tap on it that takes that classic thick SG sound and expands it to get surprisingly open and articulate scooped Strat sounds. The body is more heavily curved and the cutouts are deeper, allowing more access to the 22 Extra Jumbo frets. The Aged Natural Satin finish on the Swamp Ash body looks and feels super sleek like a well-loved guitar and is contrasted with a black 3-ply pickguard and zebra covers on the pickups. It sounds really incredible; smooth highs and thick mids with a booming bottom end.
