Thanks for visiting! I am in the process of building a couple more of these guitars inspired by Jerry Garcia's custom Tiger guitar. This design is similar to a super Strat with some cool features such as the Tiger body shape and 3 pickup layout. The body is made from Virginia Black Walnut, great color and contrast and a very dense wood with great tone. The weight will be right around 8 lbs with easy access to the higher frets and a very comfortable body shape with fully rounded edges. I have yet to drill the holes for electronics or route for pickups or bridge, You can choose your pickup and electronics layout and well as either a Tuneomatic bridge with custom tailpiece or highmass hardtail bridge. Also choose the color of the Hardware!
You will receive pictures of your exact guitar before shipping to make sure it looks good to you, return for a refund accepted within 14 days of receiving the guitar.The neck is made from a high quality Strat spec Rock Maple/Rosewood neck blank. The 25.5" scale neck profile is Fenders 60's slim taper "c" shape. There are 22 medium/jumbo nickle-silver frets and Pearl dot inlays. This neck is the same size as any USA Strat (2 6/32" heel) so there is no limit as to what necks could be used with this guitar such as a Warmoth or I could even make just about any kind of custom neck you would want for an additional charge. You can also choose a 24 fret version of this same neck but the neck pocket will no longer fit the standard size 21 or 22 fret Strat necks.For electronics this guitar comes standard with 2 ceramic high output Humbuckers and a single coil pickup. They are similar sounding to the Dimarzio super2/sds1 combo and so far everyone loves these pickups but if you want to get the best possible Jerry Tone then I would still recommend at least a Dimarzio Super 2 in the middle position. The guitar shown has a simplified electronics layout however I designed the electrical compartment so it can fit just about any electronics layout you would want. I can also add an on board effects loop (obel) like on Jerry's Guitars if desired. I can add the obel for $100 extra using either the TPC-1 buffer from Wald electronics or the CB-1 from CAE Sound. I can also upgrade the pickups to Diamrzios ($60 for humbuckers and $40 for single coil) as well as adjust the strings and setup to your specs. Any mods or upgrades will be a separate transaction after buying the guitar, please allow an extra week for mods/upgrades. Free shipping to continental U.S. and hard case (pictured on gigbag).
