Hi There! I am currently selling an amazing and extremely rare MIJ E series Fender Contemporary Telecaster. These beauties were Japanese made and this specific guitar (after tracking the serial number) was made between 1984 - 1987. This one, however, is very different from most teles and most guitars for that matter. It has been customised and fitted with a midi X - Y midi controller screen and a midi output socket (pictured). This amazing feature, after config, enables control and manipulation of any midi operated device. It is currently set up to respond to and control a Korg Kaoss Pad and a whammy pedal. It also has a hold button (pictured) which enables you to hold the effect at a particular of the current effect in use. i.e the rate of a delay time/the note in a pitch shifter/the sweep in a filter (wah wah) etc etc. This button also alters the muti coloured lights to change which looks very cool. This midi x y pad was made popular by Matt Bellamy of Muse. Powered by 1X 9V battery. The guitar functions as a normal guitar with or without the X Y controller in use. It has a coil tap feature which is incredible sounding too. The last time I had the guitar serviced I was told they are original Seymour duncans from the 80's. That being said, I always recommend getting guitars serviced regularly (something I always do with my own) and this one hasn't had a service for a while. Can be quite tricky due to the floyd rose type bridge and neck nut lock. Few minor scratches and a few very tiny chips (pictured) as expected of a guitar of this age. Overall in great condition!
