Up for auction with NO RESERVE!!!!This is one of the super rare "Gibson Patriots" from 1972.  This all walnut wood guitar has a custom Eagle inlay made entirely of Abalone shell - NOT Mother of Pearl - which is more expensive and sought after in many circles.  It is in immaculate condition and is as great a playing instrument as it is rare.  This guitar has Gibson 498T and 490R pickups as well as Gibson Chrome Tulip Shaller tuners.  This is a Gibson Custom guitar please note the official "Gibson Custom Logo" on the back of the neck as well as the original electrical schematic template from the Custom Shop - the two white plates shown in the photos above.  This schematic has the template for the wholes bored into the body for the pickups, wiring and switches when it was designed and built in 1972 and goes with the guitar - as does a brand new hard shell case I purchased to safely ship it to the winning bidder.  On the back of the headstock is the number:  2  2017, this is a stamp from Gibson to denote year and order number, in this case, 1972 order number 17.  This is a rare guitar that I'm selling with NO RESERVE so if you want it - bid on it and good luck!  As always with my auctions, if you have ANY questions, please feel free to ask!Happy bidding!
