This is a brand new, Limited Aged 2016 Mike McCready Standard Historic Les Paul 1959 R9 Standard. Comes in what is now becoming part of the heavy aged pieces- an aged Les Paul case, that is different both in and out from the Custom Shop historic cases. Apparently this was a suggested change by Rick Nielsen of Cheap Trick, asking Gibson to age a case made for him as well. This one is very heavily aged, with dual custom buckers. Aged period precise hardware. Rosewood fretboard. Solid mahogany with 2 piece maple top. Inked serial number on the back of the head stock. The COA appears to be signed by McCready, but the guitar itself is not, putting it in the $8500 MAP range. There were 100 of these made, and most appear to have gone abroad unless we're missing something. The majority of those here are aged and signed on the headstock. Paying over $1000 for the autograph doesn't seem quite reasonable, and you do get the autograph on the aged COA. We cannot offer you a Gibson Warranty as we have no connection to Gibson, but we stand behind what we sell. Satisfaction is guaranteed. Returns if not as described, else may be a 10% restocking fee.
