Diese 1962er Custom Shop Strat spielt sich wie ein Traum, und sie klingt auch so, extrem resonant. Der Korpus aus Erle wiegt 3,2 Kilo und wurde mit einem Fiesta Red Journeyman Finish und einer leichten Relic-Behandlung verdelt. Dazu kommt Ahorn-Hals mit ovalem C-Profil (wie in den Sechzigern üblich) und ein Griffbrett aus laminiertem Palisander mit Dots aus Micarta. Es gibt Kluson Style Tuner, ein Vintage Style Tremolo und ein dreilagiges Schlagbrett.Soundmässig ist diese Strat mit drei Ancho Poblano Single Coil Pickups bestückt, wobei jeder Pickup vom Hals bis zur Bridge individuell abgestimmt wurde. Außerdem wurden sie alle von Hand gewickelt, etwas überwickelt sogar, so dass sie eine breite Palette an Sonds mit hohem Output liefern. Das macht diese Gitarre zum idealen Instrument für Gitarristen, die eine gewisse Hitze – von Vintage Sounds über Texas Style bis sie so heiß wird, dass sie Blasen wirft – und viel Flexibilität suchen.
