Here is my simply gorgeous ES339. Bought new in the latter part of 2009 from new (I still have the receipt), and UK sourced, this guitar has only been used a handful of times. Criminal I know...  The thing is, I have reached the conclusion that I am far more willing to abuse my Tele than I am this very lovely Gibson. So, it has been released a few times, played at home (never gigged), and then returned to its supplied hard case after a clean and a polish.  She has had a Stetsbar tremolo system installed for added versatility, but also comes with the original ABR Tune-o-Matic bridge and mounting hardware so you can decide which you prefer. The Stetsbar can be installed and removed without drilling, holes, or routing so you can swap the system in or out as you wish. The Stetsbar Pro II is neat: “The Stetsbar feels like a cross between a Bigsby and a Strat-style trem, with a wide range of pitch in both directions. The Tune-o-matic floating bridge moves with the strings, minimizing string fatigue and bridge wear. The entire bridge assembly floats on micro-bearings and holds intonation as well as any non-locking system I have ever tried. A brilliant idea, brilliantly executed." Michael Ross, Guitar One Magazine, January 2006 Professionally serviced and set up (action, intonation Stetsbar stripped down and serviced, frets polished, lubed at the contact points, pickup/pole-piece heights adjusted, and nut checked). NEW Elixir nanoweb 10-46 strings fitted by Absolute Music on 22/10/2016 whilst being serviced. Guitarist had this to say about the ES339 on launch at: "You'd better get in the queue behind us before, in terms of price, someone at Gibson realises they've made a terrible mistake. It really is that good." The full review is here: This is the 60's slim neck version - Which in my opinion is faster, better balanced and just perfect ;) Pearl inlay logo. Gibson '57 Classic Humbuckers. Nitro paint job. Custom shop hard case included. Schaller strap locks upgrade. Made in Memphis USA. I can spot the following marks: A small light surface scratch on the top aft of the bridge, a few light surface scratches on the reverse, a light scratch on the truss rod cover and pick guard. I suspect any store demo guitar has this or worse. In other words, there are some light signs of use but otherwise spot on. The nitro paint is designed to age gracefully after all... I have tried to show any marks in the pictures but any questions please just shout.  I am advertising elsewhere, so it if it sells there I may have to withdraw from the auction. New retail price on the 2016 model is circa £2200 plus.... Add the Stetsbar at circa £180 and the package is circa £2400 minimum new. So, a bargain awaits!!  I will be sad it to see it go, but hopefully another Tele will take her place - Best of luck, and thanks for looking!  PS - Postage - Collection preferred BUT I can organise a courier at purchaser’s risk. Contact me after auction and we can sort out courier costs etc. depending on the service you want. I have quoted £25 for postage as a guide only.
