Vintage 1966 Gibson SG Standard Electric Guitar.A great playing and sounding example of a 60's SG Standard for a nice price.Has a fat, chunky neck that tapers down toward the nut for a super comfortable and quick feel. Plays great in every position with a smooth, tight action. Original Patent Sticker Pickups sound incredible. They are super warm, fat and thick. Has a super resonant, deep tone that stays clear and defined in every range. Excellent condition with signs of normal, honest cosmetic wear. The original finish has been stripped from the body and the guitar is priced accordingly. The finish on the back of the neck and headstock is still original. There is a chip on the top of the headstock near the "D" tuner that doesn't effect tone or playability. You can tell this one has been played and loved over the years which is why it feels so comfortable and sounds so great.
