1965-1966 Martin GT-70 Electric Guitar - 10019713Just arrived in our store, a 60's Martin GT-70 hollow body electric guitar. This vintage guitar is in overall good condition. It shows signs of play wear consistent with a guitar of the early to mid 1960's. This guitar's look and wear invokes the classic vintage guitar aesthetic in a big way. The front shows definite signs of aging and play wear, including dimples and scratches in the finish as well as finish checking. The back of the guitar has some finish checking that can be seen in the right light as well as a number of scratches and dimples in the black finish. The finish on the back of the neck has worn away at the playing position from the 1st fret to the 12th fret. The switch tip has also been changed. The switching on this guitar is different in that the forward position isolates the bridge pickup and the back position isolates the neck pickup. A tuner screw is missing on one of the tuners. The case's black surface layer has come off over around 80 percent of it's outer shell and there is a crack on its bottom.Thanks for looking!
