This 56 Stratocaster Super Relic is part of the Master Vintage Players Series (MVP) Limited Edition run, Masterbuilt by John Cruz, exclusively for Make’n Music in the Fender Custom Shop!!! These special instruments are custom designed to offer the Ultimate in Tone, Playability and Feel. Each guitar is hand-made to our specs in order to give the vibe and look of an actual vintage instrument, but with all the conveniences of a true modern player’s piece.John Cruz Master Built electric guitars are coveted for the incredible tone, playability and realistic vintage appearance. The wait time for new John Cruz Masterbuilt guitars is nearly 2 years right now. When activated this puts the neck / bridge pickup combination at your fingertips for all those Jimmy Page / Ritchie Blackmore type tones. Even a bit of Tele flavor. Of course all the classic Stratocaster sounds you know and love are still there too. Right where they should be. A set of Custom John Cruz Spec Master Design pickups provide plenty of spank, twang and sparkle wiith just enough extra beef to keep things sounding meaty.The Fender Custom Shop Master Vintage Player Series Strats and Teles may look and feel like actual vintage guitars, but they play like a dream. Easier chording, faster leads and no fretting out when you go for the big bends thanks to the 1&11/16’ nut width, flatter 9.5’ fingerboard radius and 6105 fret wire. These guitars also have the ultra-comfy, Custom 10/56 Soft ’V’ neck profile carved from a solid piece of quarter-sawn Maple for the ultmost in stability and tone. Adjustments are a breeze too!
