Here we have a rare opportunity on eBay, a genuine 'Made in America' and Left Handed, Gibson Les Paul LPJ 2013 model, in Cherry Red.This guitar is 100% original and features two Gibson Humbucking Pickups, a 490R and 498T in the neck and bridge positions. These are the Gibson Quick Connect (QC) type, which means changing to alternative QC pickups is a simple matter of 'plug and play'.It has a Mahogany body with a carved Maple top, a Maple neck with a rounded '50s profile, a Rosewood fingerboard with trapezoid inlays and Kluson Deluxe Vintage-style tuners.The action and playability of this guitar is as familiar as a favourite pair of slippers and plugged into my Marshall 2x12 combo, the tone is pure nostalgia.I am also including a Thomann 'Tweed Style' Hardcase, which has a plush velvet interior which holds the guitar snuggly and an interior pocket for strings, picks, leads etc (not supplied) . . .It comes with the original Trussrod adjustment spanner, user manual and original Quality Control card.It doesn't come with a strap.The guitar has never been polished, just wiped with a dry cloth, though the matt paint on the rear of the neck has polished up to a silky smooth finish with playing.There are some marks worth mentioning, both on the bottom end of the guitar. Please view pictures. Also there are mild marks to the side of the upper bout from playing, but these have a strong chance of polishing out.The fingerboard on the top side near the body has the usual 'lines' caused by the factory using several layers of rosewood to construct the fingerboard. You would have to look quite close to notice it and of course, it is non-existent whilst playing.The guitar will be well packaged and despatched by free Parcel Force 24.
