Cool affordable entry level vintage guitar with some issues. Gibson LP55 Les Paul Special from 1974 featuring an all mahogany neck and body, no volume and an original tobacco sunburst finish. The guitar has two great sounding pickups and plays and sounds great. There is evidence of a very old headstock crack repair only visible under a blacklight but not seen with the naked eye. The old repair is stable and in no way detrimental to the performance or stability of the guitar. The bridge and pickguard have Ben replaced and there is evidence if another pickup having been fitted in the bridge position but the original P-90 had been put back. This guitar was originally sold as a factory 2nd likely having a cosmetic flaw. The neck is straight and the frets are good. Hard shell case included. A real rocker of a guitar.
