For sale is a truly excellent Telecaster from Fender's Japan plant. This model is the Custom '62 Reissue in a beautiful sunburst finish with a bound body. This guitar stands out from the pack of Telecasters, with it's refined looks and exceptional playability and tone. The neck on this guitar has a great fell, like much of these Japanese Fenders it is a C shape with a slight feel of a medium D to it, fits very comfortably in the hand. Tonally this guitar has a great vintage Telecaster sound but a bit more robust across the board. The neck pickup is fat and jazzy while still being very pronounced with great clarity. The neck pickup has the bite and honk you'd expect but again with more defined bottom end and fatter tone. Cosmetically this guitar is in great condition, with a few little impressions and scratches on the top, pick wear on the pickguard, and a little buckle rash and scratching on the back. The frets have tons of life left to them with barely any noticeable wear at all. The real kicker with this guitar is it's weight, at 6 lbs. 6 oz. this is one of the lighter Telecasters we've had our hands on and it is truly a joy. This is truly a desert island guitar, with such incredible tone and absolutely excellent feel, this is a hard Tele to beat.
