Up for auction is a very nice vintage 1960's (I believe) Airline electric bass guitar.  It is full-scale with 20 frets, including the zero fret.  It was made in Chicago, Illinois back when you could order a decent American-made instrument from catalogs such as Montgomery Wards, Sear and Roebuck, Western Auto, and many more.  The serial number or model number (?) on the back of the headstock is: I-91270.  It comes with a pretty decent hardshell case.  The bass has 2 thumb/finger rests and 1 volume and 1 tone control knob.  The bridge is adjustable and I believe it has all original parts.  It currently has flat-wound strings on it.  This bass functions great and is in really nice condition with very little wear (see photos).  This bass will arrive in the same condition as photographed.  It will be shipped with strings loosened in the case itself with padding inside.  To be clear, the case itself will be used as the shipping container with the bass being padded inside and plenty of clear packing tape keeping it securely shut.  I use a type of clear packing tape that usually comes off clean yet sticks to itself very well.  It will also be clearly labeled as "fragile" many times.  I have shipped all over the world countless times in this way with no problems whatsoever.  I am willing to ship anywhere.  If you are outside of the continental United States, please message me prior to auction's end for rate (usually $99.99).  -Comes from the smoke-free, child-free, Dog-free home of a serious musician and collector.-I take pride in fast and safe shipping and handling.  I ship the same day as payment is received if possible.-Check out my many other vintage guitars, basses, comic books, action figures, and collectibles. All my items are sold "as is".  I am not a guitar expert, luthier, tech, and I do not work on or set up guitars.  I leave that to the professionals.  I do my best to describe my items to the absolute best of my abilities.  I charge a fixed price for shipping and HANDLING due to the unpredictable nature of rising shipping costs, balloon rates, packing materials, transportation costs, and varying shipping destinations.  Thank you very much for your valuable time and interest in my item.  Happy bidding, good luck, and above all, take care.
