Music Man Luke BFR Vintage Tobacco Burst PDN This Ball Family Reserve Luke model features the PDN Vintage Tobacco Burst option. The Vintage Tobacco Burst colour is different to anything MusicMan have made before. It's a very narrow burst going from black at the edges to a vintage tint in the middle. It really does look fantastic on the highly figured bookmatched Maple top with matching headstock. The Alder body features a mahogany Tone Block which helps sustain. The high gloss finish is flawless and the overall fit is as perfect as guitar building gets. Another unique feature for this PDN run is a tinted Maple neck and fingerboard. And what a neck this guitar has! The flamed Maple has to be seen to be truly appreciated. It's a stunning piece of wood. The neck profile on the Luke is a compact V shape with a flat 12" radius fingerboard. The Music Man floating vintage tremolo gives plenty of forward and backward tremolo action and tuning is kept stable thanks to the locking Schaller machine heads. They also make string changes fast and easy.The active EMG pickups employed in the Luke BFR offer a great variety of tones. The single coils sound super clear and each position of the 5 way switch has a distinct and usable tone.This Music Man Luke BFR Vintage Tobacco Burst PDN is the perfect example of how good an electric guitar can be. The selected woods used for the Ball Family Reserve instruments are some of the finest available and each instrument comes supplied with a G&G deluxe BFR hard-shell case.
