1976 Gibson Marauder Custom USA Kalamazoo or Nashville factory Serial No: 00179511 The guitar is well used, loads of life left in her yet, with fantastic wear marks that you would have to pay the custom shops (Gibson or Fender) a fortune to reproduce. It’s in amazing condition for age and is all original. This is the real deal, a 1976 Gibson that has been played and played and played (by me!). The sounds from the Bill Lawrence designed pick-ups are just right for the 70’s/80’s vibe and all electrics work as they should. There are superficial scratches and paint checking, etc, but nothing outstanding to note. Basically it’s just in great condition and I’m sadly selling it as I just don’t play it any more as I’m now into Fender guitars more and have gotten used to the Fender scale length and am not into the Gibson necks anymore… I bought this as Mac from Superchunk plays one and I wanted to emulate his sound and playing, but I know a more famous person associated with this guitar is Paul Stanley from Kiss… Anyway, however you want to play this guitar, it sounds great, plays great, looks individual and is solid as a rock! It deserves to be played and gigged again, someone should grab a bargain! I don’t have a case for it but it OBVIOUSLY will be EXTREMELY well packed/wrapped and shipped etc (unless the winner wants to pick it up from Bristol).
