For sale is a 2005 ESP MX 250 Explorer. This explorer came to me in it's original black color and a black painted piece of aluminum diamond plate was attached. This guitar was not a case queen. It was played as guitars should be but was not abused either. The guitar was in good shape but it did have typical nicks, dings and scratches. I decided to restore the guitar back to original condition by removing the diamond plate and repainting the guitar back to it's original black color. The guitar still maintains its original logo and serial #. The guitar looks great and plays great too. The MX 250 comes with two EMG 81's. The fret board is in great condition and the frets have many years of life left. I did loose the original bullet truss rod cover during the restoration process. Currently I have a black and white two ply bell shaped truss rod cover on it, reminiscant of the early 90's MX 250's. If I can find the original one I will ship it to you. I will also be including a new piece of diamond plate finished in a matte black powder coating. This diamond plate is of the exact specs of James Hetfields "ELK Head" guitar. By specs I mean thickness, finish and correct number of screws (screws included). I have not yet attached the diamond plate because some people may not want it installed and I wanted to give those people that option. So you can buy the guitar and install the plate yourself if you're comfortable with that or I can install it for you at no additional cost. In addition I will also include a set of the ELK Head fret stickers from Creative Cuts as seen on eBay. I always thought that would be a cool guitar to own but too expensive to have custom inlays done. The guitar will be shipped in an ESP fitted hard case. The case is in good condition and functions as it should. International shipping is available through the eBay global shipping program only. Please check to see if your country is on that list.
