• The PGM100 is the initial signature model for Paul gilbert. • It was released at 1989 and gained many popularity then. • So Ibanez decided to make the next model 'PGM200'. • At the 1989 (before PGM200 made), Ibanez made the prototype version of PGM200 features carolina blue color body, pink shark tooth inlays, and navy headstock. • Only 2 unit were ever made.- The one has edge bridge and the other has fixed gotoh bridge. • And the PGM200 prototype were made only for Paul gilbert himself. • Then 1990, the official version of PGM200 was released with some modifications.
<Prototype with Edge bridge> <Prototype with Fixed bridge> <Official model> • The official PGM200 was released at 1990.• It features 3 humbucker, fixed bridge, pearl blue color and sharktooth inlays.
But the official model has a big defect.• The body was very easy to be discolored. That's why almost all of the official PGM200 seems like 'green' color.• Also the pink color of headstock logo and dimarzio pickups were easy to be discolored.• Because of these defects, Ibanez discountinued the PGM200 and never produced it again. Custom Made by IbanezMania • We're big fan of Ibanez, and really love the PGM models. • We have all the official PGM models for personal collection.• As a mania of Ibanez, we just want to make the most beautiful PGM !! This PGM200 was made of 1995 year PGM100. Professional Custom Finish The re-finish was done by our professinal luthier, who worked at Fujigen Factory(Ibanez) for 23 years. Finish is very important because guitar sound is affected by finish.Especially, the beautiful sound of Ibanez is from the thin urethane finish. This PGM's finish is 100% same material with Ibanez,
and finish was specially carefully done by our professional luthier, who worked for Ibanez for over 20 years.PickupsThe pickups were changed to NEW Dimarzio Paf pro and FS1 in pink color,
which is 100% same with Paul Gilbert's one. BridgeThe bridge is Edge and Headmachines are Gotoh - Also 100% same with Gilbert's PGM200 proto. F holes and 1 volume Controls Beautiful F holes and 1 volume control is 100% same with gilbert's PGM200 proto.Navy headstock Headstock is not refinished, just like Gilbert's PGM. InlaysThe inlays were finished to neon pink, just like gilbert's PGM200 prototype. Flight hardcase
