2001 Gibson CS Historic '54 RI Les Paul Custom
The one, the only, the Elite Stratocaster. Built in the early 80s these guitars had some appointments similar to a normal Strat as well as some appointments that catered to the rockers from the era. This 83 Elite is overall in great shape and sounds fabulous. Great playability up and down the neck. Cool Strat! For your consideration is a wonderful 2001 Gibson Historic ’54 Reissue Les Paul Custom! Well balanced with a fat ’50s profile neck that feels great. Seymour Duncan P-90 pickups sound incredible, and look the part with gold pole screws. Overall in very good condition less some play wear, and some belt buckle dents in the back. Both pickups have been swapped with Seymour Duncan P-90s — a wood block has been added to the neck pickup route to accommodate the mounting screws for a standard P-90 instead of the stock staple P-90. The bridge pickup cavity has a small channel added to make space for the pickup lead wires. Replacement 5-ply pickguard, and all else is original. A great playing and very classy guitar.
