Mike Ness of Social Distortion is putting his vintage 1957 Gibson Les Paul Special up for sale. This is a very clean all original example of a single cut away Les Paul Special. The guitar is a nice medium weight at 7 lbs. 12 oz. It plays great and has the wonderful snarling P-90 tone. The guitar was purchased from the original owner through Norm at Norman's Rare Guitars. Mike has owned the guitar since 2006. He has used the Les Paul Special for songwriting, recording, and live use on his solo work. The guitar is 100% original. There are no issues whatsoever. The guitar will ship in the original alligator case along with the accessories seen in the listing picture. The guitar will also include a certificate of authenticity stating the guitar was sold from the Mike Ness Collection. The Les Paul will be professionally packed and fully insured.
