The back has a couple of small dents that go through the finish and some light dings and scratches. As the name implies, classic black finish with a white pickguard and chrome hardware. The single ply parchment pickguard has spot from leaving the protective plastic on too long. The protective plastic is still on the back cover. The guitar has a nice action and the one piece maple neck with a soft "V" profile has a great feel. The frets are in excellent condition. The noiseless pickups have a great tone and are quiet. The active midrange boost and TBX tone circuit give the guitar a wide dynamic potential. The guitar is equipped with a vintage tremolo with bent steel saddles and vintage style tuners. The tremolo is still blocked from the factory and the tremolo hole is still covered by the factory sticker. You can't tell this instrument is almost 15 years old! Looks, plays and sounds great. Includes the original Fender tweed hard shell case, tremolo arm, strap and paperwork that came with the guitar when new. 2003 Fender Eric Clapton Artist Series "Blackie" Stratocaster in very good condition with little to no playwear on the front.
