VINTAGE GUITAR GARDEN presents an amazing Japan Fender Stratocaster. For sale is a fantastic '72 Reissue Japan Model ST-72P EX (export model) Fender Stratocaster electric guitar with its a spectacular Paisley Pink. Comes with stock Fender USA pickups.
Features of this 100% original Fender Strat ST-72P EX include:
Body: Alder Strat body
Pickups: USA Fender Texas Special Pickups with cloth wiring
Fretboard: Maple 7 1/4" radius
Frets: 21 Vintage Thin frets
Neck: Medium C Shaped, 3 bolt, with large 70's headstock profile
Finish Color: Paisley Pink
Pickguard: 3 ply Paisley with fully shielded back
Control: 1 Volume, 2 Tone, 5 way selector switch
Hardware: Tremolo Bridge with tremolo arm & all chrome hardware
Tuners: Fender F Stamped Tuning Machines
We just got this one in from the original owner who bought it direct from Japan. An incredible '72 Reissue Made In Japan Export Model ST-72P EX which was sold outside the USA. See above for all its features. This low production Paisley Model comes with its stock FENDER USA Texas Specials pickups and fully shielded 3 ply pickguard. The maple neck with its large 70's large headstock feels great. Plays fantastic and plugged into your tube amp and she roars to life with that classic Fender Strat crystal clean spank. The overall condition of this 25 year old guitar is a super clean and shiny 9.3 on 10 (some light fret wear , a few light nicks & light scratches , and an eraser sized clear-coat chip on back). The owner removed the "made in japan" and serial # on heel of neck, he wanted folks to think it was USA made. It was purchased in 1991 or 1992 and he remembers in was a 1990 model. This guitar was definitely well taken care, very lightly played and basically kept in the closet of a smoke-free home for many years. Weighs exactly 8.6 pounds and comes with its Fender black padded gigbag & tremolo arm.
This low production rare guitar is pound for pound the equivalent of any USA Custom Shop model, has stock USA Fender pickups, an incredible rare Paisley finish and plays beautifully.On SALE for $849 plus $39 USA shipping.
