The PS10 Ltd was a reissue of the original Paul Stanley PS10 Iceman from the late-'70s. Kiss guitarist Paul Stanley was an early adopter of the Ibanez Iceman design, and the first to have a signature version. Compared to the original model, the Paul Stanley version had upgraded details like block abalone inlays and different pickups. Years of Production: 1995 - 1996 This is a Paul Stanley Iceman reissue with black diamond finish with gold hardware, this guitar is from 1995 and this is the better PS10 limited model. I do not believe these Ibanez PS 10 LTD guitars were mass manufactured and were some what of a limited run. This PS 10 LTD is # 425 and these guitars had the better Gibralter bridge with a metal sustain block underneath. These Ibanez PS 10 LTD guitars had a two piece bone and brass nut, I gather to give the guitar superior sustain. The body is made from I believe maple wood top and mahogany bottom, and the set neck is 3 piece mahogany. The guitar has a beautiful metallic sparkle to the paint that displays differently depending on how light reflects on the guitar. The guitar is bound with white Abalone binding on the body and neck/headstock. The pickups are great sounding, and the tuners are original Ibanez. The fretboard is ebony wood with 22 frets in good condition still. This Ibanez PS 10 LTD guitar has been used and is in good condition, but there are signs of use with various knocks and dings etc. The action is low and the guitar is easy and comfortable to play and sounds super, the neck is straight with no bowing to it, and I had the guitar set up with proper intonation. There is no Ibanez literature with the guitar and the original certificate of authenticity is not included. This PS 10 LTD guitar will be well packed in a hard case with bubble wrap around the headstock, and shipped in a sturdy shipping box. Miss this one and wait another 10 years to see another one!
