This 1957 Gibson is in fabulous original condition, except for the elegant finish checking and crazing, yellowed binding, and almost 60 years of aged beauty. Made from 1955-1959, the first thinline hollow body made by Gibson, people love them or don't understand how to work the single P-90 into glorious smooth jazz or controlled growling feedback tones. Tobacco sunburst, Florentine cutaway, and original lifton case, Gibson re-issued this classic a few years back in their Memphis factory for $3400. Only this is the original machine.
