Gretsch G6040 MCSS Synchromatic 2006tic Gretsch G6040 MCSS Synchromatic 2006. This guitar is a customized version of the original 400C Synchromatic, the 6040MCSS Synchromatic Cutaway Archtop adds a vintage-style Filter’Tron pickup. The great looking fine-grained spruce top and select figured rock maple back, sides and neck, it’s a truly fine Gretsch archtop. The body, fingerboard, headstock and pickguard are bound in extra-wide black and ivory celluloid; other features include an easy-playing oval rosewood fingerboard with extra-broad nickel-silver frets and split humpback pearl inlays, chromatic tailpiece and compensated Synchromatic bridge. In near mint condition with some very light signs of use.
