Gretsch G6131T-TVP Power Jet Firebird Red Hier haben wir eine Gretsch mit einer großen Portion Rock im Herzen. Die Power Jet Firebird ist eine wildere Version der Jet Firebird, sie hat das zusätzliche Knurren der beiden TV Jones Power'Tron Pickups. Es ist ein Monster von einer Gitarre, aber mit vertrautem Aussehen. Wenn man den Volume-Poti runterdreht, kommt der typische Gretsch Sound wieder zum Vorschein.
Die G 6131 hat Halbmond-Einlagen, ein Bigsby Tailpiece, aber auch so moderne Details wie Gotoh Locking Tuner und eine Schaller Gurtsicherung.
