2008 Fender American Stratocaster. For how long I've had it, I haven't played as much as I should, so I am downsizing my collection.It plays beautifully, feels great and looks even better with the aftermarket mint pickguard I had installed. It is a guitar, after all, so I uploaded pictures of the back, where there is some buckle rash and pick scratches. There are some on the front, too, but only superficial cosmetic ones. That impacts nothing on this beauty. The look and feel of this guitar is Hendrix meets Buddy Holly, and it has a voice of its own that will talk over you without hesitation. The reason I am selling it at this price and not higher is that the whammy bar got stuck in the bridge. It could easily be removed with a fine-tipped drill by someone more skilled than me, such as yourself or someone at a music shop, but I'll just pass the discount onto you instead of having that done myself. Easy fix. Just would need a new whammy bar. They're cheap, after all. This particular year of Strat seems to have more resonance than ones later on, I've found. It still is alder wood, but it feels a bit different and more vibrant than the 2011's and after. I will include the vintage Fender tweed strap, straplocks, the airline-approved locking case, and keys.
