Selling my beloved Fender Telecaster Custom '72 AVRI USA. Plays and sounds like a dream, no issues whatsoever. Kicks ass every time on stage or studio. Pro set up, nice and low for those speedy runs.
Humbucker in neck position gives you the warm bluesy tone while the bridge is classy tele all the way to rock n roll with some overdrive. I'm not surprised even Jim Root from Slipknot uses a Tele for his sound.
Disability benefits ended and simply thining out the herd for some cash.Period-correct early '70's details include:
Three bolt neck plate w/micro tilt adjusment
Bullet tross rod
Vintage style F-tuners
Fender wide-range humbucker pickup
C-shaped maple neck with 21 vintage-style frets
Three ply black-white-black pickguard
Vintage style three-saddle strings-through-body bridgeI will box the case and use popcorn/airbags between them for protection. Also, strings will be detuned to minimize neck tension during shipping.
Will be packed well, have done it several times and always arrive safely. Just tune up and its good to go : )
