Made In Japan Epiphone RivieraI'm selling my super rare, made in Japan Epiphone Riviera. These were made only for a short period of time in the Terada factory and I believe they were a precursor to the Elitist line of Riviera guitars. There is very little info out there about them. This one is equipped with both the desirable mini-humbuckers and stop tail piece. It's also a super rare natural finish with a lot of birdseye on the sides and some on top. I was told that the pots were changed to USA CTS pots and that PIO caps were installed. I have never verified this. I'm not sure which mini-humbuckers were used in these, but I can see braided, two conductor leads so I'm assuming they're quality. This guitar has a slim profile "C" shaped neck and weighs about 8 lbs. The guitar is nicely resonant with good low end thump. The neck pickup is warm and buttery and the bridge pickup is snappy and biting like a fatter Telecaster.
