Fender Custom Shop Masterbuilt Strat - Rare Jason Davis build
Estimated price for orientation: 3 995 $
Category: Electric Guitar
Class:
Description Brand: Fender Dexterity: Right-Handed Body Type: Solid Body Color: 3-tone sunburst Model: Masterbuilt "Closet Classic" Stratocaster Model Year: 2000 String Configuration: 6 String Finish: Lightly relic'd
"Like New" condition. This is a " '60's Closet Classic." This beautiful creation is from Masterbuilder, Jason Davis. There are rumored to be less than 50 Davis-built guitars in circulation, so this one is kinda rare. This Stratocaster sports a 3-tone sunburst finish and bound maple neck with rosewood fingerboard. I contacted Jason about his creations and he said this model uses regular 60's stock pickups. He also said, "I would include some small dings on the Closet Classics as it would probably have if it were 25+ years-old." The pickguard also shows some "aging" on the lower half of the pickguard. The neck is an incredible example of birdseye maple - absolutely stunning.
Comes with COA, case candy and a lightly relic'd G&G tweed case. Still has the protective film on the latches. This is one sweet sounding Strat. I would rate this as a 9.9/10. Note: There is a typo on the COA, misspelling "Closet." It's called human error. Doesn't make it any more valuable/collectible, nor does it lessen the value of this beautiful instrument.
