1977 Strat! Description You're looking at a real beauty of a 1977 Fender Mocha Brown Stratocaster. Comes with the original tremolo bar and bridge cover, and a vintage hard case with red interior and two case keys--though may not be the original. Bridge pickup has been replaced with a Seymour Duncan Lil Screamin Demon. Original pickup is included but it does not measure any output. The guitar is set up really well and plays great. Frets have lots of life. It has a 3-position pickup switch, stock for the time. (You can get the 2 missing positions by putting the switch in between the other settings--it's what Jimmy did back in the day before the 5-way switch.) Some basic wear marks (see pictures) include cracks in the clearcoat, and chips on the sides. One latch on case has broken off, but the case still stays closed. Beautiful vintage guitar. I have taken extensive pics of bottom of pickups and cavities, etc. Pots date to 1977 and 78 (1377828, 1377737). Matching serial appears on bottom of pickguard. Two original pickups measure 5.8 on meter (correct range for this vintage). Weight is 8 pounds, 13 ounces. I sell in several outlets on the web and may end this auction if it sells elsewhere.
