The Schecter Van Nuys strats are unmatched for playability, sound and tone. This one was owned by a working musician. Schecter slender C neck, rosewood fretboard, gold Sperzel tuners made in Germany, clay dot inlays, and just polished and crowned frets. Beautiful Koa body with SSS routing and rare jack plate on bottom side of body just like Knopflers Dream Machine. Gold brass Schecter tremlok bridge and block. Pickguard and electronics are all Schecter Van Nuys original: Black anodized aluminum pickguard (lighter than brass). 3 mini toggle switches wired to legendary F500T pickups which allow amazing pickup selection and variability in tones. Master volume and tone pots are AB mod pots which were stock on the early Schecter Van Nuys strats. The polished and rich toned koa body has some dings which you'd expect on a 35 year old guitar. The koa body versions with the Knopfler style pickguard with F500T's are impossible to find.
