Up for sale is a vintage Fender Jazz bass neck. No date stamp; 3-bolt indicates 1974-76. It has been heavily modified. It is refinished a dark tint - it brought out dark tones of the wood which is cool. Nut is replaced; truss rod crack between block inlay and nut is repaired and under the finish (common crack). It was refretted, the frets are practically new. Some frets removed wood when pulled - especially the frets from 10 and up. You can see them but they're minor. At present the frets are done professionally otherwise. The binding is original and intact as are the block inlays. The neck itself is very clean implying all the work was done recently. Nut needs work or replacement. Truss rod works fine - neck is straight.
