Gibson Limited Edition SG S3! The SGS3 takes the timeless elegance of the "Black Beauty" and applies it to the iconic SG body style to create a stunning homage to this early-'60s rocker. (1961 SG LES PAUL)The classic SG body is crafted from solid mahogany, with asymmetrical pointed horns and curved, beveled edges and contours not seen since the 1960's, for comfort. This guitar looks absolutely beautiful in Ebony, with gold-plated hardware -- including the vintage-style Sideways Vibrola (again not seen since the famous early 1960's SG's. Also updated for improved performance -- completes the Custom look and topped off with a nitro finish. Dressed off with a 5-ply, black and white beveled, layered pick guard and black Top-Hat knobs. While three of Gibson's popular '57 Classic Humbuckers ensure unparalleled tone. The glued-in mahogany neck has a Slim Tapered profile for that fast, slick playing feel, that rockers have come to know and love. A beautiful bound one-piece rosewood fingerboard with acrylic trapezoid inlays. Protect it in a Vintage Brown hard-shell case from gig to gig, and you're ready to rock out in grand style.Pickups Two '57 Classic Humbuckers in the neck and middle position with a Hotter 57 Classic Plus in the bridge which gives you more sustain, power and tone!Body Select mahogany, a time-tested tone wood, lends superb depth and resonance.
