This is a really nice 1965 Stratocaster neck with a great shape. It has a great "D" shape and fits very nicely in your hand. The neck is date stamped "2 Sep 65 B" as seen in picture. Someone did a crummy job of stamping it, but is easily read. It is all original. I am even including the original "double line" Kluson tuners in very good working condition. It has a nice curved rosewood board in very good shape with the original nut. Someone had different tuners installed at one time and they left some small holes that are slightly visible, but no biggie. The frets are original and still have plenty of meat on them. It is, of course, the small head stock with a perfect transitional decal. There was an extra string tree someone installed and has since been removed leaving a tiny hole. The back of the neck is perfectly worn to give it that silky feel when playing. It has the pearl markers on the fret board.This is a very nice and great playing neck. I had it on a repro body and electronics so I know how great it plays !
