All the hardware is clean and unpitted. The neck back is super clean, and there is no wear. Neck profile feels thinner than you would expect on a big head Strat, and the action is low all the way up with no choke. The pickups are pure Strato-Heaven, with a 5 position switch giving really awesome Strat tones in the second and fourth positions. The pickups are plastic bobbin type used through the 1980's and 1990's and are hand dated 1981. The neck pickup reads 5.91 ohms, the middle pickup reads 5.92 ohms, and the bridge position pickup reads a honking 7.35 ohms. The control pots date to 9th week of 1981. Guitar is a 92.5/100 cosmetically, and functions perfectly. No repairs, no changes, all original. This Stratocaster looks awesome, plays low and easy with no choke & sounds like angels singing.
