A fantastic and original 1989 Fender "Strat Plus" Stratocaster!
In super rare and HIGHLY desirable "Burgundy Metallic" sparkle
We absolutely adore these mid/late 80's Strat Plus models....
A nod to what would become the future of many Fender artist models including the Buddy Guy, Jeff Beck, Eric Clapton and Robert Cray signature models... the lace sensor pickups are not only magically noiseless, they also a very unique "spank and snap" to their tone.... Some unique modern engineering advancements introduced on the Strat Plus included the wilkenson roller nut, two-point tremolo, locking tuners, bi-flex truss rod and low friction saddles.These came in a wide variety of custom colors - this particular example is in one of the most rare and hard to find colors: Maroon / Burgundy Sparkle.... The guitar itself is in fantastic original condition with virtually no wear. Original trem arm, trem springs and final inspection hangtag are included! The original molded thermoplastic case is in great shape!The fingerboard has been oiled, the guitar polished and a brand new set of d'addario strings installed.
Plays great, sounds even better and ready to rock!
