Hello and welcome to my auction,a very rare treat here, this 'excellent condition' and beautiful 'Hofner Club Solid' is finished with a Ltd. Edition Antique Ivory and Dark Mahogany stain (very 'coffee & cream') and looks absolutely stunning. The original Club Series was one of Hofner's most popular guitars back in the 60's when importers 'Selmer' brought them to the UK and here, the team behind this lovely re-issue have taken the original design and brought it into the modern age... Featuring a solid mahogany body and set-neck, the classic Club single cutaway body shape is comfortable and, as this is a solid body, it plays more like a traditional Les Paul with good weight balance and a lovely re-issue tail piece and traditional tune-o-matic bridge. There's lots of bite from a pair of Hofner Diamond pickups (made in Germany) giving you some killer tones, accessed via 2 volumes and a master tone control layout (featuring vintage re-issue Hofner control knobs) with 3-way toggle switch for pickup selection. The neck is comfortable and the rosewood fingerboard has lovely triple-stripe pearl / tortoise shell / pearl inlays, vintage frets and a vintage styled Hofner headstock.The weight of this Hofner Club is approx 4.0 kgs, about the same as the
