Teisco Del-Rey EV-2TThis is a vintage electric guitar from the sixties, made in Japan and would havebeen imported to the USA; so its very unusual to find one of these outside the States.The shape of these guitars was based on that of the Vox Phantom and is a great lookingguitar with a five-sided body finished in the original blue with hardly a mark showing,and with no buckle rash or damage at all.The scratchplate is three-ply and is in a brown grained colour like formica, and it holdsthe two white topped pickups with chrome surrounds, each with on/off switches,and with volume and tone controls plus a rhythm/solo switch.The bridge is the excellent roller type and the tailpiece is a tremolo model - all complete and working well.The bound neck is in maple and unmarked and is bolted on. The neckplate isstamped "MODEL EV-2T", and the fingerboard has twenty-one frets with bothdot markers and also side markers, and the blue fronted headstock holds the"Del-Rey" logo badge, string retainer and six on a side tuners.It is all original, and a very nice guitar to play - this is a great opportunity to buya rare fifty year old guitar - ready to play!!
