This is an extra fine example of early Kamaka. No damage and plays beautifully. These old ukes have the tone that made Hawaiian music so popular in the 30s and 30s.
From my friend's family.
Her dad was in the Navy in the late 1920s and brought it back to Los Angeles.
He played Dobros and flattops for all his years, however this was his prized instrument and he taught her to play it as a child..
Wonderful vibe with all the rare labels still attached. Some wear on the bottom label.
