This is an fantastic opportunity to purchase a wooden Buffet thumbplate oboe at a very realistic price, I believe this model is a 4121 based on research (please see photos for your own assessment). This oboe is in excellent playing order having benefited from a full service. This oboe has been fully regulated for ease of play allowing the buyer to purchase with the safe knowledge that the oboe has been fully checked and adjusted cleaned and regulated.
The oboe has been disassembled, all the keys have been cleaned, new tenon corks have been fitted, new key corks fitted where needed, original pads have been checked and seated, new pads fitted where old pads were compromised. The oboe has been fully adjusted and regulated. Cosmetically in my opinion the oboe is very well presented but this is a used instrument so please expect signs of use and cosmetic imperfections, this is purely superficial and does not detract to the playablity of the oboe, overall good order.An excellent choice for a beginner and intermediate player Ready to play just requires a reed of your choice, includes original used case, functionality good.
