Up for sale is my beautiful 1956 Gretsch G6189 made in Brooklyn. Beautiful original two tone finish. All original except for the following modifications done by noted luthier Curt Wilson: Neck reset to proper angle New frets and neck binding Bone nut 1956 Bridge DeArmond pickup added (purchased from Black Rider vintage) Master volume and addition volume pot added to 6120 specs. Tone post added New Bigsby B6 installed with Duane Eddy handle The original tailpiece, Melita Bridge and pots are all included. Orignal tortoise pickup riser included along with additional risers made by Paul Setzer. A jack plate is also installed. I currently have the pickups low for maximum Duane Eddy twang. The finish, body binding, neck Dearmond and everything else is all original. The original case in in exceptional condition. Alll latches work. The guitar plays beautifully and sounds better than any Japanese made Gretsch I've ever owned by far. Nice low action. Shipping to the lower 48 States only.
