For Sale Hofner President Semi Acoustic Guitar. A must for Beatles fans! This guitar dates from late 1959 till early 1960 according to the serial number, so a truly vintage model. It is in very good condition considering this is a 57 year old guitar. The sunburst colour has worn nicely over the years. According to the previous owner the neck was broken 40 years ago and then professionally repaired, this doesn't affect the playability of the guitar however. At some point the guitar has been modified filling in the original tone controls, in order to add an extra tone control. These however I think could either do with being replaced or adjusted as two of them seem to spin and do nothing. It should be an easy fix, but I simply don't have the time The guitar could also do with a new set of strings as it's been a while since I've played this one. Comes with a fitted hard case. £700 ono.
