This Fender (Crafted In Japan) 1960s Paisley Telecaster Reissue guitar is freshly serviced. Built 1999-2002 (see chart below). It is plug and play ready to go right out of the box. This is an excellent condition used "Crafted In Japan" 1960s Fender Paisley Telecaster reissue. The finish is very nice, shiny, and new looking. There is one small noticeable scuff (see photo) and just a tiny amount of fret wear. I am very meticulous with my instruments so you will be thrilled with the action and ease of play.
In 1997, Fender transitioned to a serial number decal that reads "Crafted in Japan" above the serial number. The "Crafted In Japan" models were built from 1997 through the mid 2000s and Fender Japan used up their overstock of bridges from the "Made In Japan" era with the "A" serial number stamped on the bridge. This is why on the Crafted In Japan models you'll see another "A" serial number on the bridge of Telecasters built in this time period which has caused some people to wonder if the neck and body were from different guitars. But this is perfectly normal. To date your guitar, use the ink stamped serial number below "Crafted In Japan" and follow the chart below.
