Here for sale is my fabulous 2003 Custom Shop Jaco fretless.
The necks on these Jaco Tribute basses are fantastic. As close to a proper 62 as you will find, especially so on these earlier ones.The rosewood slab neck is epoxy coated just like the Bass of Doom was.
When I bought the bass the COA certificate had been lost. I had the Custom Shop rep take it apart to check authenticity and a new COA was issued. The CS do not back date certificates so the date on the replacement certificate is 2015.Also, the pickups had been replaced by a previous owner to use in another Jazz Bass.I replaced those for the correct Custom Shop 60s single coil pickups which would have been on it originally from the factory.So now the bass is exactly as it should be and sounds great!It has its original case and all the normal Custom Shop case candy.
