I'm having a big clear out of unused and preloved guitars. If you're looking for something a bit different from your next strat you're in the right place. This stunning looking guitar is made from ash and walnut.
It has been hand finished and teak oiled to a silky smooth finish. Sports a USA Dave Murray trem. The cover is still on the trem arm plate with screw still inside. I never use the arm and not even sure if I've still got it! The pickups are hot vintage wilkinsons and they are wired on a 3 way switch. CTS volume pot.
The neck is a triple A grade one piece maple neck. Sports vintage gloss to finish. I have gently taken the rear of the neck back to a satin finish as I find glossy neck a bit sticky.
Truss rod is in the heel.
The neck had kluson style tuners fitted but I found them a little flimsy. So I changed them to high quality machine heads with 18:1 ratio. A very fast playing strat. Great sound. Great sustain. Great setup on gauge 9 strings!
A lovely player and looks great too. At my bin price I'll include a hiscox hardcase.
