I bought this at an estate auction years ago. I took it to a luthier friend and he tells me it's from the 20's. It's all original except I believe the head is goat skin, and 2 clamps were replaced. The metal back which is brass and chrome plated were added later. It has a beautiful sound. The back has a few minor dings and has a spot where the chrome is worn. It has friction tuners. Has a hard maple neck with cross grain striping. The fret board is ebony and is in good shape. The tail piece is made by Waverly and needs cleaning. There is a dent in the head stock about 1/2" that should be noted The pot dia. is 10 3/4" . I can also ship to Canada. I have listed defects to the best of my ability, feel free to ask any questions. Shipment will be insured.
